Over the past few weeks I've been sharing my dream lake house with you courtesy of the new Lake Village in Daybreak. First I introduced Daybreak to you, then I talked about the David Weekly floor plan that I would choose for my dream house. Last week I shared what finishes I'd be choosing and today I'm showing you how I'd decorate my dream lake house!
The above picture is a great example of how I'd like my house to feel. Here's the products I'd choose for my Living Room.
Sofa // Loveseat // Chairs // Rug // Coffee Table // Side Table // Basket // Diamond Pillow // Ikat Pillow // Lumbar Pillow // Floor Lamp // Chandelier // Coral Art //
In my opinion a lake house should incorporate lots of white, blue and texture!
One of my favorite picks for this room is the Serena and Lily outdoor chairs.
If you're going to do white, especially in a lake house, I think it's smart to make your white furniture either slip-covered or in outdoor fabric so it cleans easily.
For the Dining Room this is the layout I'm working with.
Here's the items I'd choose for my Dining Room.
I brought in an outdoor rug to make sure it stood up to my kids and all the food and dirt they'll be traipsing in.
I love how it also ties in the navy from the Living Room.
This series has been so fun! As I said at the beginning of this series I really do love living in Daybreak. It is an amazing place that honestly is as good as it seems. If you have any questions about Lake Village or are considering moving here then come out and take a look! Maybe you'll see us out at the park or the lake!
Don't forget to follow along with the other bloggers as well! They are all super talented.
