Today we braved the cold and rain and went out to get Jett a pumpkin at the patch. 

It was a successful trip! 

BTW did you know that I buy most of Jett's clothes second hand? This entire outfit was bought at Kid-to-Kid!

I would describe my style as modern coastal chic with nod toward traditional!  Being at the beach I like to embrace the coastal look without the awful matchy-machy theme beach house look.

0 E-Design Board: Soft Gray + Citrine

I think we've seen a lot of gray and yellow rooms lately so for a recent e-design project I used a color palate that consisted of soft gray and citrine. The colors are a little more muted than the typical gray and yellow rooms we've seen. I also added a dash of black with the curtain fabric. 

The fabric all arrived this week and I am so happy about how everything is going to look together. 

Hopefully I'll get some great pictures back to share with you all!

I recently stumbled upon this adorable necklace on Pintrest when searching for some jewelry to wear to a wedding. From Nordstrom for only $16 I couldn't' pass it up! I even bought it in two colors. 

They arrived yesterday and I am in love. I want to wear them with everything!

I've created a pretty little blue and pink bedroom design board for you today.

 I just love this fabric and I decided to base the whole room off of it.

This Serena and Lily fabric would make sure pretty curtains. 

The paint color is Van Courtland Blue by Benjamin Moore. 

And just for fun here is how the textiles would all look together. I just so happened to have samples of everything in my office! 

I think this room is very dreamy and would be so pretty as a girl's bedroom or nursery!

This summer Daybreak had the opportunity to help the Gomez family build a house. The whole thing took place down the street from my house. It was so fun to watch.

   Jonah Gomez is a seven-year-old boy who is full of life despite the fact that he needs a bone marrow transplant due to rare blood disorders that have required him to have open heart surgery and receive special medical care. So far there has been no bone marrow match for Jonah. He faces a tougher challenge than most because he’s from Latin descent and statistically fewer minorities join the bone marrow registry.
